영어회화 15일 : 의견교환

1. What do you think about ~  :  ~ 에 대해 어떻게 생각하세요?

What do you think about my new car?   내 새 차 어때?

It looks great ! 멋지다.

• 그것에 대해 어떻게 생각하세요?   How do you feel about it?
• 그것에 대해 당신의 견해는 어때요?     What are your views on that.
• 부디 솔직한 의견을 주세요        Please, I’d like an honest opinion.

 

2.   In my opinion, ~  :  제 생각에는 ~

What do you think of the book?    그 책 어떤거 같아요?

In my opinion, It’s better than his first book.    내생각에는 그 작가 첫 번째 책보다 나은거 같아요.

• 내가 보기엔 그가 쓴 것 중에 가장 최고인 것 같아요.   As I see it, it’s probably the best he’s ever written.
• 내가 알기로는 그가 쓴 다른 어떤 책보다 더 나은거 같아요.   As far as I’m concerned, it’s better than all of his other books.
• 말하자면 조던이 우리 소속 선수들 중 최고라고 할 수 있지.  Jordon is the best player we’ve got, if you ask me.

 

3.  I don’t care  : 상관없어요.

So what do you want to eat?   그래, 뭘 먹고싶어?

I don’t care. I’ll eat anything.   상관없어. 아무거나 먹을래.

• 어떻든 상관없어요.   It doesn’t matter.
• 무슨 상관이야?   Whl cares?
• 그래서 어쨌다고?   So what?

 

4. 영어로 말해보기

부장     :  스티븐 킹의 새책 진저브레드 읽어봤어요?

James :  물론이죠. 전 그의 대단한 팬이에요!

부장     :  그래, 그책 어떻게 생각해요?

James :  글쎄 제 생각엔 그의 다른 책들보다 훨씬 낫던데요.

부장     :  그런가요? 글쎄 내가 보기에는 사인이 최고였던 것 같던데.

James :  그럴지도 모르죠.하지만 진저브레드는 제가 단언코 제일 좋아하는 책이에요.

부장     :  어쨌든 내 생각을 말하자면, 킹이야말로 세계최고의 작가인 것 같아요.

James :  물론이죠. 저도 그렇게 생각해요.

 

부장     :  Have you read Steven King’s new book, Gingerbread?

James :  Of course, I did. I’m his big fan!

부장    :  So, what did you think of the book?

James :  Well, in my opinion, It’s much better than his other books.

부장    :  Do you think so? As I see it, Sign was the best.

James :  Maybe. But Gingerbread is difinitely my favorite.

부장    :  Well, anyway, King is the best writer in the world, if you ask me.

James :  Of course. I think so, too.

 

 

James :  이 책 어떤 것 같아, Anne?
Anne   :  전저 브레드? 내가 보기에는 이책이 그가 쓴 것 중에 최고인 것 같아!

James :  그래? 진짜 그렇게 생각해?

Anne   :  그렇고말고, 난 이 책 정말 좋아해!

James :  나도그래. 내 생각을 말하자면 난 진저브레드가 최고의 책이라고 생각해.

Anne   :  두말하면 잔소리지!

 

James :  What do you think about this book, Anne?
Anne   :  Gingerbread? As I see it, this is the best book hi’s ever written.

James :  Really? You really think so?

Anne   :  Absolutely! I just love this book.

James :  Me, too! If you ask me, Gingerbread is the best book ever!

Anne   :  You’re absolutely right!
