영어회화 7일 : 받아들이기

1.  Yes, please. I'd like some :  네, ~ 을 주세요.

Would you like something to drink?   뭐 마실 것 좀 드릴까요?

Yes, please. I'd like some cola.  네, 콜라 좀 주세요.

• 네, 커피가 좋겠네요.     Yes, please. Coffee would be very nice.
• 네, 커피 좀 주세요.       Yes, please. I'd love some coffee.
• 그러면 좋겠네요.         That would be nice.

 

2.  Yes, I'd love to :  그럼요. 물론이죠!

Can you come to my wedding?   내 결혼식에 와줄 수 있어?

Yes, I'd love to!    그럼, 가고말고!

• 세상이 끝나는 한이 있어도 그렇게 할게    I wouldn't miss it for the world.
• 물론이지/ 당연하지   Sure thing. / Absolutely!
• 내기해도 좋아  You bet!

 

3.  영어로 말해보기

James :  정말 만나서 반가워요. Jenny. Matt 에게 이야기 많이 들었어요.

Jenny  :  아..정말요? 나에 대해서 James 에게 무슨얘기 했어?

Matt     :  당연히 좋은이야기만 했지.

James :  뭐 마실것 좀 드릴까요?

Jenny  :  아, 그냥 물만 주시면 좋을것 같아요.

James :  그래요. 아, 클럽에서 찍은 사진들이 방금 나왔어요. 보고 싶으세요?

Matt     :  물론! 당연하지

 

James :  It's very nice to meet you, Jenny. I've heard a lot about you from Matt.

Jenny  :  Oh, yeah? What did you tell him about me?

Matt     :  Only the good things, of course.

James :  Would you like something to drink?

Jenny  :  Oh, just water would be very nice, thanks.

James :  No problem. Oh, the pictures I took at the club just came out. Want to see them?

Matt     :  Of course! I'd love to!

Matt     :   근데, 너 올 수 있지? 그렇지?

James :  그럼, 세상을 다 준대도 내가 네 결혼식에 빠질 수는 없지!

Matt     :  고마워. 그런데, 네가 결혼식 끝나고 우리를 공항에 데려다 줄수 있어?

James :  당연히 되고 말고! 그리고 네 비행편 확정하는거 잊지마.

Matt     :  그럼! 그런데 차가 막힐까 걱정이야

James :  내가 결혼식 직후에 짐들을 차에 실어 놓을게. 어때?

Jenny  :   그래 주면 좋겠네요.

 

Matt     :  Anyway, you can come, can't you?

James :  Hey, I wouldn't miss your wedding for the world.!

Matt     :  Thanks, By the way, can you give us a ride to the airport after the wedding?

James  :  Sure thing. And don't forget to confirm your flight.

Matt      :  Absolutely! But I'm worried about the traffic.

James :   I'll put all the luggage in the car right after the wedding. How about that?

Jenny  :  That would be nice.
