영어회화 6일 : 권유하기

1. Would you like ~ ? :  ~  드실래요?

Would you like some coffee?    커피 좀 드실래요?

Yes, pleease.   네, 부탁드려요.

• 뭘 드릴까요?    What can I get you?
• 뭐라도 좀 갖다드릴까요?   Can I get you something?
• 사탕 좀 드실래요?    How about some candy?
• 이제 주문하시겠습니까?  Would you like to order now?

 

2.  Why don't you ~ ? :  ~  해 보지 그래?

This sweater is really nice.    이 스웨터 정말 좋은 걸.

Why don't you try it on?    한번 입어 보지 그래?

• 맘껏 입어봐.    Feel free to try it on.
• 그거 입어 보면 좋겠다.   I think you should try it on.
• 왜 내게 편지를 쓰지 않니?  Why don't you write to me?

 

3. 영어로 말해보기

James  :  저, 뭐 마실 것 좀 가져다 줄까?

Anne    :  아니, 괜찮아. 됐어

James :  맥주나 뭐 다른건 어때?

Anne    :  됐다니까. 게다가 난 지금 몸이 별로 좋지 않아. 아무것도 못 먹겠어.

James :  그래, 그럼 우리 오늘 밤 영화 보러 갈까?

Anne   :  아니, 그럴 기분이 아냐.

James  :  아휴, 왜 그래? 아직도 내 말을 못 믿는 거지? 그렇지?

 

James :  Uh...Can I get you something to drink?

Anne   :  No, I'm fine. Thank you.

James :  How about a beer or something?

Anne   :   I said I'm fine. Beside, I'm not feeling well. I can't eat anything.

James :  Oh, then, Would you like to go to see a movie tonight?

Anne   :  No, I'm not in the mood.

James :  come on, you still don't believe me, do you?

James :  오, 안녕, Mira!....반갑다.

Mira      :  멋진 스웨터네! 너 그거 아무래도 꼭 입어봐야겠다. 그거 입으면 아주 멋질것 같은데.

James :  그래? 음...

점원     :  친구분 이신가 봐요? 잘됐네요. 저기 작은 방이 있는데, 거기서 편하게 얘기 나누시죠.

James :  아니요, 됐어요. 나가려던 참이에요.

점원     :  네, 그럼, 이 재킷 입어보시겠어요?

James :  아니요. 괜찮아요. 저...나중에 올게요. 미안해 Mira! 나중에 보자.

 

Mira   :  Hey, James! Hi!

Anne :  Oh, hi! Mira! Good....to see you here.

Mira   :  Nice sweater! I think you should try this on. You'll look great in it.

James :  Yeah? Well...

점원    :  You just met your friend? How nice! We have a little room over there. Feel free to talk in there.

James :  Oh, no. Thank you. I was just going to leave.

점원    :  Okay then, Would you like to try on this jacket?

James  :  No, thanks. I...I'll come later. Sorry, Mira! See you around !
